White fish that belongs to the species of flat fish such as the Witch (Rooster) or the Sole. It is usually found easily on the Mediterranean coast among rocks or on sandy bottoms. Pelaya is usually fried in small sizes or grilled in the case of large ones. It has a fine flavor due to its white meat, which is soft.
