Small fish from the Ammodytidae family. It is characterized by its elongated body covered with small scales. Regarding its size, it can measure up to 20 cm in length. The habitat of the sonso is centered in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. They are usually found in sandy bottoms.
