MARESMAR INNOVA AWARD

In May Mercabarna held a new edition of these awards with the aim of promoting and recognising the areas of research and innovation of the companies located in the Food Unit. Innovation is one of the most important levers of change and is the key to differentiation.

The three categories in which companies could present their projects were:
– Innovation in food products.
– Innovation in operations and business model.
– Innovation in packaging.

In this last category, Maresmar stood out by presenting its New Sustainable Packaging project (seafood and fish box as an alternative to EPS).
